Not all great online business ideas come from great business minds.

People get rich from some really stupid ideas.  This is a “why didn’t I think of that” list.

Business idea

Remember not so long ago an online business attracted massive amount of excitement with a program developed by a 21 year old guy named Alex Tew.  It amounted to formating a page with 1000000 pixels, a charge businesses  a dollar per pixel to advertise your business on it.  He made millions, I don’t know if any of the businesses advertising made that much but it was really big at the time.  Million Dollar Homepage

People will pay for just about any service today.  Someone thought up a online business service that offered to pick a domain name for people that had no imagination it is called PickyDomains.  Certainly not something I would have thought of but makes a ton of money.

This one is great.  How about goggles for dogs that like to hang their heads out the window of your car or pick up.  Really create goggles for dogs and sell them online? Boy, this IS the dumbest idea for a business.  How in the world did they manage to become millionaires and have shops all over the world with that one?  Doggles

A navy seal created a deck of cards featuring exercise routines, and sold it online for $18.95. Sounds like a disaster idea to me, but he made $4.7 Million dollars with the idea.  Just goes to show there are markets out their for ideas.  Fitdeck

Christie Rein was tired of carrying diapers around in a freezer bag. The 34-year-old mother of three found herself constantly stuffing diapers for her infant son into freezer bags to keep them from getting scrunched up in her purse. Rein wanted something that was compact, sleek and stylish, so in November 2004, she sat down with her husband, Marcus, who helped her design a custom diaper bag that’s big enough to hold a travel pack of wipes and two to four diapers.  Christie’s company, Diapees & Wipees, has bags in 22 different styles, available online and in 120 boutiques across the globe for $14.99.  Designer Diaper Bags.

SantaMail has been around for a while now and continues to make very nice money.  Ok, how’s that for a brilliant idea. Get a postal address at North Pole, Alaska, pretend you are Santa Claus and charge parents 10 bucks for every letter you send to their kids? Well, Byron Reese sent over 200000 letters since the start of the business in 2001, which makes him a couple million dollars richer.

How about making “man Skirts” and selling them to men.  Men from all walks of life, it turns out, are itching to lose their trousers. What a stupid idea, but it makes a lot of cash.

So the question to ask yourself is, Could  my stupid idea be the next million Dollar online business?  There is only one way to find  out, get with it and start brainstorming!
